Alpine Siege Toyota 4x4 aftermarket

Flagship development product

OEM-Style HVAC Control Module Concept

Alpine Siege's first flagship development product is an OEM-style physical HVAC controller intended for factory navigation-equipped Toyota Land Cruiser 100 Series and Lexus LX470 applications.

Built around the factory navigation HVAC problem

On factory navigation-equipped 100 Series Land Cruiser and Lexus LX470 interiors, climate-control interaction is tied closely to the original display system. That dependency can complicate modern head unit and interior upgrade workflows.

Alpine Siege is developing this module as its first flagship Toyota 4x4 aftermarket product: a dedicated physical HVAC controller intended to preserve clear climate-control interaction while the rest of the cockpit can be modernized.

The project remains development-stage. First-article prototype validation is pending, and the product is not ready for sale or preorder.

Why it exists

The intended use case is a factory navigation-equipped vehicle where an owner wants a modern head unit, updated media capability, or a cleaner interior electronics path without losing proper physical HVAC interaction.

The concept is not to make broad compatibility claims before testing. The goal is a restrained, vehicle-aware controller that can be validated against real HVAC behavior, packaging constraints, harness requirements, and ignition-cycle edge cases.

Intended interface

  • Physical knobs for high-frequency climate adjustments
  • Tactile HVAC buttons designed for in-cabin use without touchscreen dependence
  • LCD/status display concept for essential climate state feedback
  • OEM-inspired visual restraint rather than a flashy aftermarket interface
  • Designed for navigation-delete and modern head unit contexts
  • Packaging approach intended for 100 Series / LX470 dashboard constraints
  • Documentation-first installation planning after validation supports it
  • No ecommerce, preorder, payment, or account functionality on this site

Prototype validation status

Current status: first-article prototype validation pending.

The module is still in a validation stage, not a production or sales stage. Final specifications, installation requirements, and compatibility notes will depend on test results.

What still needs to be proven

  • Real vehicle MPX/HVAC behavior across target applications
  • PCB power stability through normal vehicle operating conditions
  • Harness correctness and connector assumptions
  • LCD assembly fit, durability, and readability
  • Mechanical fitment in the intended dashboard context
  • Ignition cycle behavior and startup/shutdown edge cases
  • Control repeatability over repeated user inputs
